Welcome to the Organizations page.

I have been dedicated some of my free time to helping out swing dancing organizations. I was one of the financial structurers of the New York City Balboa Weekend 2007 and now I have decided to form my own events and management program called Woodside New York Group .

I believe that the continued existence of the Lindy Hop and Balboa swing dances are through an organized amalgamation of tradition and innovation. In english, that means that I think that in order for Lindy Hop and Balboa to become major dances instead of a street dance that isn't going anywhere, we need to constantly work on educating ourselves, creating resources for our communities, and making the dance more accessible to the public. It's always been my hope to put together a project to help make Lindy Hop and Balboa a main part of every dancer's dance vocabulary. Afterall, dance is communication through movements.
